Visual Art
Primarily created using acrylic paint, these works reflect an ongoing practice developed since 2007. During university studies, a style emerged that combines Surrealism—drawing influence from René Magritte and Salvador Dalí—with photorealism. A strong focus is placed on reflective and transparent materials, particularly glass and metal, to explore the effects of light, reflection, and refraction. Since 2017, this exploration has developed into a cohesive body of work centred on metallic surfaces, especially aluminium foil objects set against dark backgrounds. Works are often accompanied by thought-provoking titles that invite reflection on personal and societal themes, and have been presented in various exhibitions.
